Ashley St. Clair, the mother of one of Elon Musk’s children, claims that the billionaire blocked his ex-partner Grimes, with whom he has three children, after she begged him for child support.
St. Clair, a 27-year-old right-wing influencer, spoke about her experience with the Tesla CEO in a TikTok video that has since gone viral and garnered almost three million views.
Legal battle over paternity
St. Clair is the mother of Musk’s 14th child, son Romulus St. Clair. She and Musk have been in a legal battle over paternity and custody since his birth in September 2024. Musk, 54, is the father of 14 children with four women: first wife Justine Wilson, ex-partner Grimes, Neuralink CEO Shivon Zilis and Ashley St. Clair.
A paternity test showed with 99.9999 percent certainty that Musk is the father of the child. According to the Wall Street Journal, Musk allegedly offered her $15 million and $100,000 a month in exchange for keeping quiet about the boy. St. Clair turned down the offer, saying she didn’t want her son “to be a secret.”
She then posted a series of videos on TikTok in which she claims to expose Musk’s “secretiveness and lies” and alleges that he has a “complicated relationship with the truth.”
“I watched it as a mother and felt despair”
In her latest post, St. Clair claimed that Musk blocked Grimes, who herself has previously spoken about the difficulties of co-parenting with the tech mogul.
St. Clair says she witnessed their awkward communication. “It was awkward because, you have to understand, at the time I was with Elon, I was already a mother, so I was looking at their communication from a mother’s perspective,” she said.
She then described a situation that particularly affected her. “Claire, whose real name is Grimes, once texted him and begged him for something related to the kids, and he just said, ‘I’m blocking you.’ And he did block her,” she said.
She added that at that moment, while she was pregnant with his child, she felt desperate. “He has your kids, and now you’re blocked. It’s crazy,” she commented. After that, she says, she realized that she had to “protect” herself.
